 Sir John Saffron, Earl de la Warr, Captain of Lady Katheryne Born the only son of loyal subjects of Her Most Royal Majesty, John has one older sister, Junabelle, who is a Maid of Honor for her majesty. John's early life was filled with lessons in fencing, riding, and hunting, but equal importance was placed on scholarly pursuits. At the age of 15 he was placed into the service of Her Majesty as a Yeoman of the Guard, responsible for the general security of Her Majesty while she was on progress. After a second year in the same position he received a promotion to Captain, and in his third year of service became the youngest Captain in the history of the guard. He is married to the Lady Isabelle (formerly Rosemary) Saffron, they have one child, a girl named Elizabeth. |
