 Lady Anne Hastings,Maid of Honor, Lady in Waiting to Her Majesty Anne was born the eighth of eleven children to the late Earl and Countess of Huntingdon. Sent to court by her brother the Earl, Anne is always in search of a husband (a handsome, well born and well moneyed husband). This has proven exceedingly difficult with most of the men of court away fighting the Duke of Parma in the Netherlands. In the meantime she seeks the advice of those already married to know what to look for (or not) when the gentlemen return. The outward model of a young Elizabethan noblewoman, Anne secretly loves course humor and Scotsman jokes, but would never admit it in polite company. |
