DBorn of mortal woman, I have lived just outside this fair village for quite some time, but now it is now time for me to intervene. There are factors at work to put the townsfolk in grave danger. Unspeakable horrors that your unspoiled minds cannot fathom. That's why I am here. To protect you from what you refuse to see. Not everything misunderstood is evil. Not everything normal is benign. Through my hard work, devotion, and study I have made my presence known to the villagers. Perhaps they see in me what they hate in themselves or, they may realize that it is far too dangerous to ignore me. In addition to all this, I also . . . must find a bride. A Mortal woman. I have a great deal to offer the woman who can see beyond this withered, stunted form. More than you think. |
